My art practice is a journey of self-discovery. I explore through paint, clay, and other materials searching for my authentic voice. I often find inspiration in the overlap between daily life and art, letting one form of creation inform another. I see living itself as a creative act, continuously unfolding from one moment to the next. My work is an attempt to give form to this.
Bio
Born and raised in Los Angeles California, my journey began with Waldorf education, where the unique curriculum fostered my imagination and my creativity in several disciplines.
Building on this foundation, I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing from the University of San Francisco in 1997. While my studies focused primarily on painting and drawing, I also nurtured my interest in sculpture and book arts through electives. In 2020 I discovered a love for ceramics, drawn to the concept of functional art.
Since 2013, I’ve lived in Oceanside, California, with my husband and son, drawing inspiration from the diverse landscapes and my everyday family life.
